Please tell me what I have here?

I bought these from a lady who said they were 950 Japanese silver. I have bought SOME Japanese silver before, and I do know that the Japanese standard is 950, but I'm not sure what I have here...

The only marks are inside the bases, like this:

They LOOK like Japanese sake cups, and they certainly don't look plate, so... any ideas folks?

Can't see the marks all that well (despite clicking on the pic to expand) but at least the characters on the top resemble the first 2 in the "pure silver" mark for Japan illustrated here.

Maybe you can tell better in person.

The Japanese silver mark was "Jungin" ("Pure Silver"). I can see the gin mark, so that's silver at least. I'm not sure what the other character is.

Here's the best shot I can get of the mark.

The upper character definitely looks like 'gin' (silver). But I am curious to find out what the bottom mark is. A friend has posted this photo into a Japanese collector's group, so hopefully I'll get an answer before the end of the day...

銀製 "Made of Silver." Often this mark has fineness stamped as well.

I've checked everywhere. There's no other mark. Japanese silver is 950, that's what I do know, so I guess that's what this is.

    Japanese silver can vary in fineness - .800, .900, .925, .925, .950, and 1000 fine silver...

Unfortunately, it doesn't state what fineness it is. There's literally no other marks on it.
