Featured Is there a special name for this (Czech?) striped glass

Over the years I've had a necklace or two with this kind of glass. Assumed it was Deco Era, and/or Czech. Just wondered if it had a special name. Thanks!

Merletto?


I have a piece of Sklo that has embedded lines. My ID says the Harrtil line, designed by Milan Metelak and Milos Pulpitel and produced by the Harrachov glass factory, introduced under the Sklo Union banner in 1955. (It's a stretch, but maybe some names to look at.)

 

Thanks for the responses so far. I have other beads in this style that I purchased years ago. Just have eight or so loose in a bead drawer. Different shape but I think the same clear glass w/embedded black lines. If I can dig them out, might post a photo later in case in jogs someone's memory.

Love the Sklo piece, Moreother. I'll look into Merletto. My first thought is that these might be Czech, but who knows.

 

I've never seen beads like this so I'm no help with a name, but it is a fabulous necklace, very art deco to me

 

I've a number of black and clear crystal Art Deco Bohemian glass necklaces. Not seen beads with those lines, but the rest look to me to be 1920s/30s Czech/Bohemian.

Here are the similar beads I had. These came off a necklace (gads, over 25 years ago thinking about it...) and I never could bring myself to repurpose them as I'd never seen similar until the necklace from last week.
