    Just got in after 'puter hiccups kept me out at first.

    So nice to see everyone!

    Hope the rest of the gang comes aboard soon. We can clink our glasses together in the new light of day as we calmly watch our ol' rusted clinker of a ship slip beneath the waves into the shadows of the deep sea where only bottom feeders survive.

    Welcome to the forum glad you could make it.
    I`ve been sending invites out 5 per day via the ebay messages/ ASQ but there are still lots more to invite.

    BTW I never knew we were the same age along with Wendy and sixrivets too :rolleyes:

    Welcome to all our new AB exiles!! This is fabulous. We can post what we want and no Mods or their minion, DSS, to herd us around. I'll bet if one of us wants to post a MCM spaceship coffee table for discussion, we won't have to search for it somewhere else! :) Loving it.

    Davey - you know you'll have to give us all some time to celebrate before we settle down. It's just like the exhilaration of being let out of jail. (Which sounds like I know what that feels like, and, except for an overnight once during the 60s when I was arrested with a lot of other anti-war protesters, I really haven't spent time in jail!)

    Well I really am the age I put in, and in the 6mos since my hubs died the gray hairs are coming in fast now!

    I have been going through a lot of sobbing lately, certainly a part of the grief process, so please give me some time to get my stuff together.

    You can also click on your user name in the upper right, in the brown bar. Then you can change several things about your profile if you want, including your avatar!

    About the age thing, I avoid putting the correct birthdate into most sites, if I don't know for sure that they are secure from the possibility of identity theft. Just strange that way.
