    Parchment is dry animal skin

What you appear to be calling parchment is 'laid paper'.

I guess I only read the back of 1. The birthday card with the flowers is labelled imperial parchment from the coronet collection.
Thank you guys for all of the information. There is so much here I doubt I'll learn anything accurately anytime soon.

Takes time Carrie, I learn things all the time from reading the input of the terrific posters here, even if it's not in my own collecting interest I just soak it all up .. I think we all are still learning things that we never knew about. Your posts are interesting and I enjoy them very much, TY ..... Joy.

I just pulled a ton of Easter and Christmas out of the drawer of an estate sale I'm setting up. They're from the forties and fifties and are SO cute!

They just don't make them like that anymore

It is called parchment paper. Refers to the texture.

    People collect old cards.

Have you sold on ebay? If not then maybe look at Etsy, I wouldn't start on ebay these days.
Maybe when the weather is better you and a friend could have a garage sale, or go out to a flea market.
I would start making boxes of things to sell, price as you go so you don't have to do it later.

I would put these in lots and sell that way.

    I've
been working on it, bought plastic bins. Sentimental, sell, and I don't know.
The I don't know pile says that sale is going to have to happen soon
