Happy Tuesday! headvase.jpg headvase1.jpg Any chance someone might know the maker of this large lady headvase? It is marked in blue stamp Made in USA. I've looked at hundreds but haven't found this exact one. I'll be back with the bottom picture in a few... as I was editing I realized I forgot it.
    Thanks!

Thanks... I have googled hundreds of images and on Ebay and other selling sites, so far I did not find even one that looked like this one. Of course I am probably headvase blind right now... lol

It's shown at the Franciscan site I linked before, in the "Franciscan Pottery and Catalina Art Ware" section.

The site is built with frames, so a direct link will kill the left-hand page menu, but here it is:

    http://www.gmcb.com/franciscan/html/patterns/catalina_pottery_index.htm

Again, my guess is that it's the Gladding-McBean version, since it has the blue inkstamp. They purchased those molds from the Catalina Island Pottery, and I've never found a good resource on how the original company marked their pieces, or if they used that blue inkstamp mark.

Right? I found it right after I posted, and couldn't edit the link into my post.
