I'm Baaaaccckkkk.....phonograph record player

Hey, it's been awhile! But hoping all you smarties can help me out w this vintage/ Antique record player. Obviously someone destroyed the cabinet by painting it, but here are my thoughts.....gut out the speaker/turntable/chassis and sell on EBay (if there's a market) then sell the cabinet as a diy or shabby chic piece... ...OR.....just sell the whole thing as-is and don't waste my time and energy trying to figure out how to disassemble this thing.....what are your thoughts? I've looked online and cannot find this particular model so it's hard to determine if the guts have any value...

Totally agree with all above....you'd kill yourself trying to clean it up and probably not get very much return after all your effort!!! HAHA...let someone else have all the "F U N".....said in jest!!! I don't think 'Montgomery Ward' was ever 'high end' merchandise, but someone else can correct me if I'm wrong.......

 

Thanks for the input! Before I could tell my sweet husband not to bother he'd already pulled the chassis.....So, I gutted it anyway! I'm gonna throw it on ebay and see what happens. Someone can have fun DIY'ing the cabinet. My brother saw it today and said it was the most hideous yellow cabinet he's ever seen....LOL! I don't think the chartreuse is THAT bad.....I'll let you know what happens. Being furloughed from work right now it gives me some entertainment....
