Last necklace from saphiret sale group...

This is the last piece I need an ID for from that first sale at the fairgrounds. (Fair warning, I purchased some other things at a 2nd table I also some questions on, stay tuned.)

For now, this piece. Choker length. Era? Keywords? The pendant kind of reminds me of something you might call "pressed" metal. Czech, maybe?

Would those little knots in the necklace have been original? What about the back closure --replacement or original?

The "flash" on the back surface looks like the piece could be die stamped,but what looks like casting "bubbles" and filled corners looks like a casting.The clasp looks new.If it is cast... sometime after 1940,die struck....late 1800's to present.

I think that's later than the other pieces with that knotted snake chain. I also think it's a marriage. The beads and caps on the necklace don't consort with the plaque, which looks 1950s.

 

What about the topaz colored stone????? And I personally, LOVE the knots in the necklace!!

I looked at this earlier and thought this just doesn't look right. Still have the same feeling.

I think someone made this from parts.

The large center piece looks like a bracelet link.
