Recognize the hallmark?

    Adrian, HI! Long time, no see... How's life treating you these days?

    As for this item:

    Is there any way you can get a better, close-up shot of the marks on this? Between glare & everything else, I really can't see all the marks very well. (For instance, are the 2 marks in the middle letters?)

    If you can get a better photo & post it full-size (not thumbnail,) I imagine somebody here will be able to help.

    Nice to "see" you again!

    Silver plate marks. I can't really see them either, but the trefoil or what ever it is on both ends is a giveaway.

    It appears to be a late 19th C tea caddy.

    I know it's not the same.....but that 3 headed thistle mark..is close here..

    The partnership of William Ainsworth and Samuel Baker trading as Ainsworth Taylor & Company was active from 1878 at 78 Ford St, Park Rd and 40/42 Spencer St, Birmingham.
