Hi everyone. Hope you are all safe and well. Came across this place after trying to find out more about shards of pottery I have found. Wondered if anyone can help if they know anything that could help me find out a bit more about my recent finds. Or the best direction to take. Here’s a couple of photos. thanks guys.

    Hi & Welcome Jaz !
Your pics are too small to really get a good handle on what they are, plus...we have no way of knowing how big they are...where you are...where they were found...how long you've had them...if you've cleaned them, if they were found together.....and we'll need to see the other side of them before bringing our well honed expertise to bear on such a wealth of shards......

I had to change the size of the photo to let me upload it. We are from Dumfries and Galloway. These pieces found are mainly found near rivers. Most have been found in the last two days from our daily walks. Most pieces are cleaned. A this particular bunch were found together. Thanks so much for the reply love this place already. Oof, there's a subject and a half. ;) The colour of the clay for one thing: mostly not that white, so possibly before white Cornish clay was widely available. The transfers are not that sharp, so printed on old presses and the colours are less bright than later ones.
