Just a couple things caught my eye. It looks like there are 3 snow Crest Syrup bear banks, which sell around $15 ea. around here. they do OK on eBay too.

    http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=glass bear bank&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&rt=nc&_trksid=p2045573.m1684

Another thing that caught my eye is the cast iron santa , sleigh and reindeer toy.
I know nothing about them, but I think it's neat and santas always sell well.

There is also a lot of what appear to be cast iron dog/animal figurines/ doorstops? They might be worth looking into.

The Halloween Pumpkins intrigue me too. Might be worth a flyer if they go cheap. I remember someplace I saw an article about these and was floored by what some of them can be worth.

Ok I see which ones you are talking about. I am intrigued as well on them pumpkins. If nobody jumps on them I will likely pick them up.

Be careful on the Halloween pumpkins, they are heavily reproduced. Check the paper inside, the original should be thin, flimsy like crepe paper.
Some good Christmas pieces with their boxes that will sell well, but depends on what the price will be. Worthwhile checking completed on ebay for them. On the cast iron Santa/sleigh/reindeer make sure all the wheels are there.
There is a neat piece behind the cast iron santa, the piece with the face - might be worth checking out.
This looks like a great auction - hope you get lots of goodies!

Two chairs caught my eye, and I know nothing about furniture. The one with the ships wheel like back looks interesting, just because I have never seen one like it, and the red corner like chair. again, I know nothing about furniture, but it looks neat to me.

I'm thirding the Halloween lanterns. Give them a good once-over first of course. The military "pots" don't look to be in great shape, but the fireman's helmets might be worth a gander. Older ones can sell handily. Those plastic model cars can sometimes be worth a bit too; they were given out when you bought a real one and a lot of them didn't survive. There's also at least one tintype in the lot next to the girlie water bottle. Those bottles in good shape (with the lids, good paint) are a nice find. Then there are the cast iron critters King mentioned, and of course that Christmas toy. Expect the latter to go through the roof if it's genuine. People throw silly money at Victorian Christmas pieces.

There's one of those veteran's grave markers we've spoken of here recently.
    Some filthy smudge pots too.
    Batman lobby cards?
    Smith-Miller dump trucks?
Dealer promo cars can do well.
I like the Planters item. Should do well.

All photos are really fuzzy on my phone but I'll look on the computer tomorrow.

Great info. It is usually a nice auction. Ilove the mystery box lots they sell outside too. I found alot of goodies in them downside to that is we had alot of rain this past week and all of it was out in it. In my area anything tin and cast iron goes very high, sometimes I feel too high. Great info on the pumpkin lanterns. I will have to study them well. We are given 30 minutes to look over everything before it is auctioned.

Thank you KOT! You saved me from a night of tossing and turning! I couldn't for the life of me remember the term Smudge Pot. I was telling Ryan about how they used to use those things around road construction sites in my hometown in the early 60's. I showed him the picture of them but couldn't come up with the name! LOL

Count me also on those doorstops. The fox terrier, couple of the Boston terriers and the sitting French bulldog with the bat ears do look like Hubley doorstops. Not sure of the cats, but do know Hubley did at least a sitting Persian. Now there are reproductions of many of Hubley's doorstop. Some are marked, but some aren't. Here are a few examples:

The following Justanswer.com query site has good tips on telling authentic from reproduction Hubleys. The tips are in the 3rd reply:

The axe display with the three axes is a super piece, if I were there I'd bid in that, it has got to be worth some hundreds I'd think. And the other axes with sheaths might be worth some too. From here, the cast iron animals, door-stops I guess, look very good, paint has aged vintage look, get them if you can, if auction is well-attended those will see some hot bidding action. The two shallow boxes of machinists instruments are re-sellable if you can get them for say $20. Vicinity, since I use them I might pay $40. Or so, and consider it a good deal. I looked at all the stuff and everything I saw looks genuinely old, I saw nothing that looks like Chinese repro junk salted in, but I only know certain areas. But lots of that stuff is interesting and most of it is probably collectible to someone, go in there and buy some of it, I don't think you will regret it.

    Ha!!! Well you're MOST welcome!
We had them in Jersey City and last I'd seen of them was '69 til I used them in the Navy at NAS Fallon, NV in '75. Fallon is a target/bombing range and is now Top Gun.
We used them to mark the 4 points and center of the bullseye, which was a large vehicle such as a tank, for night aircraft bomb and rocket runs by Navy, Marine and Air Force pilots.
I can't imagine they'd not use them still.
One night a Navy Captain made his rocket run and the center smudge light disappeared. Of the three triangulation spotting points no one could see it so we had to clear the aircraft group off into a holding pattern far away and go waaaaaay out there and reset it. Any one point of light out wasn't an issue but obviously center was.
It wasn't out, it was gone!
We set another and completed the night's runs.
The next evening we went out to light them for that night and hunted for the pot.
It was found far from the vehicle with a perfect curve in the bottom of it. His rocket had hit and flown under it!!!
I took it, cleaned it up, and mounted it on an oak base I made along with a brass plate commemorating his accomplishment and shipped it to him.
I got a letter back thanking me and that crew for our work and a squadron patch for each of us. :)
That patch is proudly sewn on the back center of my Navy jacket. :)
I've no doubt that he still proudly has that pot on display in his home. ;)

komokwa The Truth is out there...!

What Spring said about the overall ...I'd say is correct.
From Space Ghost to the KKK token...there's something for everyone.
( KOT..I once had those Batman trading cards...!!!)

There's lots of value here ...but what can you get it for ?>??? & do you know enough to fight for things..? :(:jawdrop::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Except for what looks like one crenelated dark glass dish that looks nice...I can't talk to any glass..:sorry:

& there's too much here for me to go in depth about all I know...

    So...
The mustang grill....see how old it is.
    Pic with A Treat...under it there's a flying shuttle...that's at least $100 item.
    Fireman hats....bear looking at.
    Marbles...if they're older...buy em all.
The 3 largest snowshoes are older....and I'd value them at $200 to $300 easy...( but hey, I'm in Montreal !! )
Some of the duck decoys may POP.....depending on age design & condition.
As well that the water birds on sticks....look for any siggys.
The sled would go well in a northern market !
In the pic with the GEOX black powder.......I'd check out the black hat for markings...the higher the X ..the better it is. The powder flask ...could be a couple of hundred.& the other metal flasks are worth as much or more....depending on condition and age.
The large dark fishing creel with the leather front....if it's solid..$300 to $ 450.
The Batman trading cards....look well used.....but I'd buy em for a song, just cuz Mom trashed mine !!! :hilarious:

Hey....this is all just off the cuff.......& as always...it's what you're into & what you can get it for !!!

So , like I didn't mention the bayonets ...or the cap guns, or holsters, Space Ghost items, walking sticks, ect....& they all have value, if the price is right !!

    Good luck !

I thought Batman looked larger like movie lobby cards but there wasn't an animated movie in theatre....was there?
I'm sure I'd be after some stuff there.

Nope......& I looked quick......but they sure look like my trading cards..

Looked again...they're next to a box of pencils......
    Trading cards fer sure..

I've seen older wood duck and game bird calls go for crazy money at auctions, but I don't know enough to suggest which ones to look for.

Here's what may surprise you ... the branded stuff from Hess's department store! I have a friend who sold some boxes and bags from there and they went for good money (and that waitress dress looks like it's in its original bag)... look at these to compare ...
