Featured Jester Girl Paintings

Has anyone seen these before? Just curious about year/ artist... doesn't seem like it would date too far back. Just picked them off a Craigslist Ad because I found them charming. Thanks guys!

Mom had a Paint by Numbers, "the Last Supper" in the kitchen when I was growing up

In retrospect, I find it hilarious that I called them 'elves', they are clearly more medieval, jester-like LOL

 

I'm a big fan of 50's-60's culture.. never knew about the term 'page boy'. As the saying goes, ''learn something new....''

 

Ok. Now I'm feeling old.

I recall Jimi Hendrix getting banned for life from the BBC for wreaking havoc on the Lulu show. lol.

 

In case you're interested the sale price was $45.
At that time people were collecting paint by number pictures.

The eyes have a sort of Keane look to them.
When I went looking to give an example, I came across another painter by the name of Eden who did a lot of Harlequin big eyed younger girls.
Had no idea there were so many Harlequin children.
Must have been a fad of the 1960s.
