How Old Is This Brooch

Two days before my Mother passed away she gave me this piece and told me my Dad had given it to her for their 10th anniversary which would have been in 1952. Her mind was pretty much gone by that time and I don't know if she remembered correctly. When I sell things I like to be as honest as possible. Would you say this piece would date back to 1952?

 

The company started in 1943 and went until 1993,so Id say it could very well be 1952. Or 1962,or 1972 !Just call it vintage B. David rhinestone pin .

I think it's a bit later than 1952, but close enough for Ebay.

I might, I have so much of her jewelry, about 400 pieces.

 

Oh, fair enough, and thank you for answering. I'm enough of a magpie that I'd keep the lot, but quite understand that 400 might be thought a quantity.

 

I have some with precious stones that I will keep though.

 

It's a pretty pin, but unless there's some sentimental attachment I'd let that one go too.
