Hi, Can anyone tell me how I can get a parts blow up / schematic diagram
of all the parts of these two clocks ?
One is a Waltham 8 day 1917 brass dash car clock
    movement # 20910077

The other one is a Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox 8 day travel alarm clock
    measures 2 x 2 1/2 "

There is a part missing. that is why I need a blow up of the parts
to find out what is missing .
thanks for the help : )

Tried to post pictures but, this website wanted to put all files in the bottom portion
so therefore, I could not figure out how to take that out & put in jpg in there

Someone will be along to tell you how to post a picture.
You might want to check the size, sometimes all you need to do is resize 600x800 or close to that.

If you are trying to post pictures from a mobile device, you will have probelms with file size and sometimes, type.

It's not really relevant anyway, unless you can show what you think is missing, if that is not rather an impossible way of putting it.

Usually, when repairing clocks like this, what the reapirer does is to make a new part, substitute something similar enough to do the job unobtrusively, or rifle through the mountain of clock parts most repairers keep lying around in case they come in useful, because for stuff that old, you cannot order a manufacturer's part like you can with a ten year old car.

I have been involved in clock and watch repair for about 30 years and rarely seen a parts diagram for anything at all old. What you do is take a look (knowing what should be there for it to work,) then carry on from there.

What seems to be the problem?

I am trying to post pictures from my desktop computer not from a mobile phone.
The problem with both clocks is that they will not run.
Because there is a part missing in both of them.
There is no way for me to know what
part is needed with out a schematic diagram of them.
I was hoping there was a parts blowup diagram available
    thank you for your response

If you don't know what the part is how do you know that is why they will not run? What are the symptoms? Can you show a picture of where the part ought to be?

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Generally, to post a picture on this site you would use the "Upload a File" button that is at the bottom of the box where you are typing. Then you go to wherever the photo is stored and upload it. But it won't accept huge files. You would need to use some kind of photo editing program to resize it. Many computers come with a program already built in. If yours doesn't have one you can get a free program called IrfanView that can do it.

Reduce to 480x640 and all will be well.
I have no problem doing this with the photo program that came with my old computer.
    Write your post.
Then load photos, up to 10.
    Hit the full image button...always.
    -
If you have gone back and edited anything after first loading the photos then click after your last period or whatever is last!
    THEN hit full image.
If you don't.....the photos will be within your words and what you wrote will continue after the photos. :p
