    Hello everyone.

I have a very old designer belt buckle made of massive brass with two knotting.
The double buckle is handmade. It has a total width of 15 cm x 5 cm.
In the middle of the bottom of a buckle is a logo. Manufacturer, designer? I see T a mushroom in the middle and dan a M ??

Does anyone know this manufacturer, buckle?
    Probably around 1900 - 1940

    thanks for your help

We would like to see the entire back side of this item. I cannot see how the item detaches in the present photos.

First letter looks like an "L" to me, and that middle thing looks like a palm tree more than a mushroom to me.

I'd say it is a one-off due to finishing marks on back, the way the parts aren't exactly parallel, joint tube on one side larger than other, etc. perhaps the mark are the makers initials

It could be Trench Art. These were items made from artillery shells during WWII by soldiers. Springfield is right - it's probably an original piece.

I would caution you not to 'clean' items so much if you plan to resell. The patina or surface coloration cannot be replicated and you may devalue the piece.

Do you have a photo example of the belt? Is it 100% military?

    I think it's ziviel fashion belt !!
I am still looking for the company or designer.

    Thanks for your help
