I need help identifying this.

    I dunno what is this , this is pass down to me by my late Grandfather , tried searching the name . The box only wrote 6 pieces , is it 6 pieces in the world created by this artist.
    I dunno how much is worth too.
    I hope I can find out more about it then getting scam by others . Thank you so much .

    Do you have other pictures of this item......I can't tell what it is....but I can say the box is not that old.....by Chinese standards....

    Maybe others will know better......It's bedtime for me !!! :happy::happy::stop:

    It's been kept in my late grandpa shelfs until recently it's been pass down to my dad.

    Yes, please take it out of the box and take pictures from different angles. I can't tell what it is either.
    If you can read Chinese, please translate the text for us.:)

    All the files is so big to upload . I'm using my phone tho , maybe I can try using a computer later on.

    It's not a sceptre my Friend . The Chinese word contain dragon , pheonix.
    Ru yi sceptre is totally different from this.
    Maybe i need some expert from China to help me verify this

    I think its a belt buckle,but thats based on the fact you didnt give dimensions.

    The 'quantity 6' on the label probably indicates how many individual items are packed in a unit for ordering purposes (carton, box, bundle etc).

    You need to show us what the item is. Not just open the box and take a picture looking in. Also you need to show all pieces.

    May I also suggest that you put some identifier in your title.
    Something like:
    What is this wood item? What is this pottery item? What is this jade item?
    Any word descriptives that will get the right people to look at your question.

    It says "People's Republic of China". To me, that dates it to after 1949, and most likely, after the 1970s/80s. Without seeing the entire thing, it'd be impossible to say what it is.

    Just because it came from grandpa, doesn't mean he had it for a long time.

    So true, I can't tell you how many times I get called out to a house where they want to sell Mom's old jewelry - and all I find piles of Chico's jewelry :eek:
