Mermaid? Need Help Identifying Mark On Earrings.

Greetings Fellow Antiquers!
The marks on this pair of vintage Sterling Silver and Mabe Pearl earrings have me stumped.
Item: Vintage "Stepped" Sterling Silver and Mabe Pearl Swivel earrings.
Marks: Letters OM located within the image of a Mermaid? Otter?
This is one of the more bizarre jewelry marks I have seen.
I am hoping a knowledgeable jewelry expert will recognize the marks.
I would truly appreciate any information.
There are a couple of very small marks I have not been able to photograph.

I don't think these are very old. Last 20 years at the most.
To me, being an old person, Vintage is the wrong term.
Vintage what? 1990? 2000?
Not being rude, it's a pet peeve of mine.

 

My eyesight must be going because I don't see a mermaid anywhere.

 

I think it's OM in some kind of animal.

 

They are from Bali, Indonesia, still being made. Indonesia is one of the main producers of Mabe pearls.
Sorry, can't see any mermaid either, just classic Balinese floral designs.
