HI, I am trying to gather some money for a fried who passed away.
She had the furniture that I am trying to see if I can sell and get some money for the funeral expenses.
Please take a look at the attached images and let me know if there is anything valuable that can be sold.
    Thank you![IMG] [IMG]

Welcome, Don. Sure many will be happy to help you help your friend. But people are reluctant to click on a link. You can post your photographs using the "Upload a File" button.

Don, someone more knowledgable than I is going to come along and tell you that there's not a lot of interest in "brown" furniture these days. And sometime smaller items have greater value. I see some glass. You might want to also post photographs of other small decorative items, particularly anything that looks antique or vintage. Is there any jewelry?

I'm not more knowledgeable than Debora, but I will say that there's not a lot of interest in brown furniture, especially mid-20th century dining room sets. In my part of the U.S. Midwest, I'd be lucky to get $200 for the whole set, and on same days I wouldn't be able to give it away.

Sorry to harsh your good intentions. Like Debora said, perhaps you've got some other items of interest.

Unfortunately, what they said. It looks like a 1920s/1930s set and those just don't sell for much here either. It's probably a good set. Two years from now, who knows, but at the moment it wouldn't get much interest.

To be very honest Don, I didnt see a whole lot that was particularly collectible .What is that gold metal stand by that sideboard ? You could just have an garage sale and put very low prices on everything. A very modest home, bless her heart .

Possibly the mantle clock, although prices for those have dropped as well.

Unfortunately the needlepoint is probably worth more than the chairs.

How are you trying to sell right now?
Is your area allowing estate sales?
    Is a dealer coming in?
