Featured Glass Champagne Flutes w/ No Base

Ok, I have seen some modern ones with long glass stems for standing in a champagne bucket but these would never stand up for that, they are very delicate, did they have a holder of some sort? The painting on them is half upside down depending on how you hold it.I guess onces its empty you can put it upside down on the table and it looks like a party hat. LOL Is there specific name for this kind of stemware? I have two they are 10 1/2" high. Thanks!

 

I know nothing for certain, but these appear to be vases, sans brackets or holders.............but maybe not..................

 

while that may be true, the paintings upside down at the halfway point is throwing me?

 

These had a holder of some kind for use when they weren't full of champagne. Once they were, bottoms up!

These fabulous flues were made by Ludwig Moser in the Czech Republic. I have a set of 4. They came with little dishes with the same design. If you google Moser Glass, you can learn about this exquisite crystal.
