    I found two artists who sometimes sign "F. B." Frank Burke and F. Brighton, I don't think they were even alive in 1934 and there paintings do not resemble this style very much. It's just a hunch.

    It looks like she's wearing a puka-shell necklace. Could it be EB? That tail on the B goes right under the first letter.

    The necklace reminds me of the African and Caribbean stuff the Cunard girls made popular in the late 20s, early 30s
