Can anyone please help me with the value of my lighter I've looked on the Internet and only figured it was made in 1978

    Hi Misha28!
I think it would be a good idea in the future to post your pics in FULL IMAGE, and show the entire object. I believe Zippos contain identifying information on the bottom of the lighter, so a photo of that (in focus:p) would probably help, as well.

After July 1986, Zippo began including a date code on all lighters showing the month and year of production. On the left of the underside was stamped a letter A–L, denoting the month (A = January, B = February, C = March, etc.). On the right was a Roman numeral which denoted the year, beginning with II in 1986.

If is turns out to be older than 1986, you could look here for some additional search information. I have a small collection of lighters, myself...but have not looked into their dates or values in years.
    Good Luck

Looks like a "Slim" Zippo. Has a nice graphic but little less desirable than the standard sized Zippo. Measure it to determine if it is a Slim:

    2-1/4" (5.72 cm) tall x 1-7/16" (3.65 cm)

If it is a Slim, and you list it, be sure to indicate that in the listing.

Perhaps, like sabre123 said, because it is a SLIM Zippo it may not have the same markings? I guess more research is warranted here.

This might help a little bit

Ah, maybe not. Yours doesn't have BRADFORD PA.

I don't know if they ever used quote marks, komo. This is a 1978 regular sized Zippo:

Bradford PA was probably been left off because it's a slim, not a regular
    size.

Bluumz is correct, some slims didn’t have the Bradford stamp and I’ll ad that slims from 1966 on had the same date codes as the regular size.
