I previously posted the just marks on a few of these, so sorry for duplication. An old friend of ours gave us 10 little tea cups as a gift. Story is they all were acquired in Japan during the occupation and brought back to the USA by his Grandfather. I took pictures of the sides insides and the bottom showing the marks, if any. I am posting these one at a time so I can keep the information I receive straight in my mind. Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated, including possible age, location made, and if it would be worthwhile to contact someone to give a value. These pieces do not have sentimental value, and I would like to sell. If you could give a reference on someone who could provide this service that would be great as well. Sorry to be so long winded LOL. My pictures are large files and I am having to resize as I go so it will take me a few days to post each cup. I thank you! You know you can find your old posts by clicking on your name? Not many people will be moved to answer the same question twice.

Last time I posted it was all of the marks, in one post. I got so confused with the replies, I could not tell what name/information was with what cup. So someone suggested that I also include pictures of the outside of the cups as well, so I did. I have 10 cups, and I am looking for the same information on all 10. I appreciate what ever input I can get, and if this was too much then I apologize as well.

I haven't been able to find this Japanese porcelain marks yet - it wasn't on the gotheborg.com website. About all I can tell you is that it was probably made *before* the USA military occupation of Japan (1945-1952). Japanese porcelain during that era had to be marked with something like "Occupied Japan" or "Made in Occupied Japan." Do wait for more knowledgeable Oriental porcelain people to chime in.
