Crown3.jpg Crown5.jpg Crown1.jpg Crown1.jpg Crown3.jpg Crown5.jpg Crown1.jpg Crown4.jpg I think the decoration on this piece is so pretty. I hope you can see it with the terrible pics taken with my old camera.

It is 4 1/2" long and 3" wide. It stands 3 1/2" tall. I would love to know the maker.

Looks a bit to me that it might be Wavecrest. I'm not that familiar with it, but if you google wavecrest glass. it might help you.

Very pretty, it seems to be milk glass. The dolphin feet may be a clue as to the maker. One of the glass companies used those feet extensively, but I can't recall who at the moment.

Thanks for the response. My neighbor has a Cambridge book, I will look in that. Of course Cambridge has several books, it might not be in that one. Come to think of it Cambridge does ring a bell.

No help with the maker, but if you are "searching" you may try the term "cigarette box". Which is what I thought when I saw it and other novices may have the same thought.................

I'm finding tons of them in pink, crystal and plain white. Everyone is speculating (but not absolutely sure) Cambridge Caprice and/or Tuscan. One seller says the molds were passed around/sold among different glass companies.

There are two rose painted with gilt on ebay right now, with no ID other than possibly Cambridge.

There is a cigarette box with the exact feet (whole fish superimposed on the dolphin head) currently for sale on eBay. Seller has Boyd Glass markings on hers, but says that Boyd used a mold from Cambridge Glass. Hope this steers you to a solution.

It is Crown Tuscan. My pictures at not very good as they were not taken with my good camera. Before I had my stroke I had many pieces of Crown Tuscan. This site has helped bring back some of my memory of several of my antiques. Thanks for your response.

Did they do lamps in this Crown Tuscan Line? I've got a glass GWTW lamp on marble base that has a pink tint to it that is very similar to this line, hand painted also with gold outlined flowers in darker pink.

You might want to start a thread with pictures.
Not sure that Cambridge did lamps.

I'm watching an Elvis marathon for he would be 82 today.
Right now Blue Hawaii is on and he was in the Army. He, supposedly of course, brought his GF's Grandmother a box that looks something like yours from Austria but it has a music mechanism in it.
