Featured Beswick figurines - Miss Moppet and a koala

Because Bear asked.... I don't think either is worth a ton, but they cost the princely sum of 50 cents total. The Moppet may be on its way to a friend's house.

 

They're both early. The later Moppets don't have that dating on them and the Beswick backstamp on the koala is older. Moppet would be about the twenty quid mark or a bit more retail. Koala maybe ten to fifteen quid. So not a bad buy.

 

Sometimes you just got to buy things cause they're neat looking and cheap. (Oh dear, that sounds like my old dating days!)

Thanks Bear. No clue what they're worth on this side of the Lake. American prices tend to be different. Still, for the price paid I couldn't miss by much.(LOL)

 

I sold a Beswick Owl for $45.
Mrs Puddleduck sold for $39 and that was low compared to others I have seen in shops here.

That is an early mark on Miss Moppet, so you may want to do some research.

 

I may have to, now that I know it's worth more than the five bucks I'd figured.
