Finish on those chairs looks newer ( too satin). Look underneath the seats to see if the upholstery is stapled or tacked on. In my opinion 350$ EACH is way too much but maybe the furniture market in WA has a premium over the furniture market in Ohio at this time.

Just used modern furniture. The ad says Victorian style so don't think they believe that they are old. Our Habitat for Humanity would have no more than $75.00 each on these and I would think that high, as I can buy used furniture cheaper elsewhere. I don't imagine they were much more than $350.00 when new.

What he said; they'd be lucky to get $75 each for them here too, and that would be if they were genuine antiques. The finish on these "smells" like 1975. Victorian style wood doesn't move on the East Coast either. I found a really cool baking table today on markdown at the Restore here. It was genuinely Victorian and in need of a little help, but it was reduced from $150 to $75. It was begging to be sitting as a display table in an artisan bakery somewhere and ... going begging.

    Hi,
I have to agree. My Hab for Human would have them at 50 bucks each. My neighbor just bought 8 dining room chairs (Thomasville) for 75 dollars last month.
