Hello, I have a vintage match safe that on the inside edge is marked STERLING and a single image that looks like a fleur de lis. Any help clearing up the meaning or brand of the hallmark would be greatly appreciated. See images

It's really pretty plain and ordinary but here it is...

Thank you for the speedy reply! Do you think it matters that the styles of the fleur de lis are different? Mine is kind of a line drawn image whereas yours is more defined and outlined? (for lack of a better way to put it)

I was wondering too as they look different in many ways but perhaps it changed over the years?

Ugh, those darned fleur-de-lis marks (the Justice mark is a 'J' in a heart and triangle) - the Davis & Galt fleur-de-lis is in a shield, later registered to William Linker, but Rainwater showed it without shield for Linker, and since she didn't show any marks for Ludwig, Redlich & Co., and only their merlion mark (reg'd. in 1892) under Redlich & Co., their goods often show up as either Linker or Wm. B. Kerr, who registered a similar fleur-de-lis in 1892. The Ludwig, Redlich fleur-de-lis is well documented in period publications, and the mark had, as most silver marks, a number of variants - the match safe was made by Ludwig, Redlich & Co.

The 1st pic shows a more typical version on one of their enameled fleur-de-lis match safes, the 2nd, more like the OP's, is on the same style enamel fleur-de-lis match safe:

Now that I look closer at the Justice mark I see exactly what you mean. Doh! Thanks so much for your input!

While I am a collector at heart, mainly vintage cigarette lighters, I am selling some of my collection on ebay at the moment. Can you give me a ballpark idea of what this is worth?
