Have many micrometer calipers by various makers, all bought used, sans box, sans calibrating wrenches. Each maker used a different wrench. So sad I've had this useless-because-uncalibratible bunch of "mikes" for years. Today I hit the jackpot, in a sniped auction, for many different micrometer adjusting wrenches. These are only about 2" long, and making them is too much of a PITA to even think about. And if you use a substitute you will probably damage the precision instrument. So I'm going to bed happy tonite! http://www.ebay.com/itm/351927038710?ul_ref=http%3A%2F%2Frover.ebay.com%2Frover%2F0%2Fe11003.m43.l3160%2F7%3Feuid%3D6e4b49bc42ec484089464c4cc91e4b58%26bu%3D43186444685%26loc%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.ebay.com%252Fulk%252Fitm%252F351927038710%26exe%3D15633%26ext%3D40448%26es%3D0%26nqc%3DEEAAAAQAAABCBAAqCAAAAIARAAgAAQAACIAAABAAAEIIAAACJQAAACAAAAAAACAAAFAAAAAAAAAgAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAEAAAABEAAoAAAAAAEAAAzgAAEAACAAABAAAAIAQAAAQAACAAggAAAAAAAIAABAAIABAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAE%26nqt%3DEEAAAAQAAABCBAAqCAAAAIARAAgAAQAACIAABBAAAEIIAAACJQAAAKAAAAAAACAAAFAAAAAAAAAgAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAEAAAABEAAoACAAAAEAAAzgAAEAACAAABAAAAIAQAAAQAACAAggAAAAACAIgABAAIABAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAE%26ec%3D1%26sojTags%3Des%3Des%2Cnqc%3Dnqc%2Cnqt%3Dnqt%2Cec%3Dec%2Cexe%3Dexe%2Cext%3Dext%2Cbu%3Dbu%26srcrot%3De11003.m43.l3160%26rvr_id%3D0&ul_noapp=true
Wow. I see little tiny wrenches like that pretty often. I never knew what they were for. Especially the squiggly shaped wrenches always puzzled me.
That has to be the worlds most absurd URL. you seem to get exactly the same page with this http://www.ebay.com/itm/351927038710 So what does all the other stuff do? Good buy with the wrenches. Mikes lose them as soon as they are moved, ut seems.
The extended URL provides stability, validity, and athletic support. Well maybe, but as first posted only the abbreviated form like yours was shown. Then When I edited a typo, the site for reasons known only to itself vomited that gibberish all over the page, and I was too (insert some derogatory term here) to attempt a repair.
I may even have one or two of them floating around somewhere. I use calipers on a regular basis but not a micrometer.
Between tools that hubby's father, my father, my mother and he has collected over the decades, we have a bunch of these floating around. Had I only known you'd wanted some, I'd have shipped them to you. Let us know if you're missing any.
