hi josh, i like collecting rocks also , haven't polished any but i have these i posted in another thread (finds thread)

 

At some point I might post some photos of my rock collection, but this is a antiques forum and I doubt it would get that much interest.

 

you can post anything in the ,Finds Thread

 

Maybe we can have an on-going finds thread here instead of a weekly one. If it gets too unwieldly, we can start a new one or go to a different format. Finds do not need to be antique.

Show us what you found!

Joshua - It would be better to start a thread of its own for your rocks collection - illustrating what various rocks look like, educating other members in the process. Others might even be encouraged to show off their own!

 

Thank you everyone, nice rocks, Lloyd! Collecting and polishing rocks is good for the soul, Joshua....crafting jewelry is the ultimate test of your patience level, not recommended for those who race to the finish line. I'm basically a turtle whenever possible...
Here are more bracelets, Poisonivy, all are sterling with gem bone inlay. The first and third photos are pieces I made last year, the 2nd photo is my first and made for me in 1978.
