Puzzle: can you identify this 1942 photo?

    Springfield, the aid society is not Belgian, nor are the fighters are Belgian.

    Very interesting comment, though I do not believe there were any Dutch or French personnel in the photo. The wounded man was the compiler of the photo album.

    Give the man a cigar!

    Chetnik resistance film made in Wales and released in 1943 with the title Undercover.

    I was fooled initially and thought the photo was an actual resistance group.

    I didn't see this soon enough because I was going to say it was a set-up of some type and not a real battle. I didn't know what the troops were, but it looks staged.
