Hello everyone. My name is Larry and I've just recently joined your group; already having great conversations with some very nice members. I am a semi-retired silversmith who also enjoys lapidary and recently began collecting sterling flatware. I also find it pleasing to browse through other posted collectibles and learn from your experience and knowledge. I'm not really familiar with the technical aspects of forums and can't seem to find a way to enter a photo in my user 'identity box', or whatever it's called.....I did finally figure out what the 'mood' button was for....derp. Any help would be welcome with that. Thanks for having me and happy holidays, folks.
Hi Irw / Larry! To change your photo one way is to go to your profile page and then just click on the box where the photo should be. It will let you upload a photo from there. You can also go to your user id in the blue bar upper right on the page and from the pull down menu select avatar. Funny, I was just googling how to repair a split in a silver spoon wondering if I can do it myself.
Top right hand corner of this page is your 'handle'...place the cursor ( arrow) over it and a drop down menu will feature the word....AVATAR.....that's your personal photo.....go there and follow the prompts...
Welcome, Larry! To add a photo to your avatar box: Click on your "name" in the dark heading bar (on the right side next to Inbox.) The drop down menu had 2 columns - lefthand column more than half way down is Avatar. Click on it and you'll get the page to add your photo.
Always wondered why they didn't have a "mood" classification for us older folks that need meds for arthritis - LOL!! Welcome, Larry!!
