Anyone younger than me?

    Hello I am 15 and have been collecting pre 1850 books, maps, and Ephemera since I started reading (about 10 years ago:)). It is sort of strange that I have always felt like I have to collect antiques, especially because I did not grow up knowing anyone who did. I love antique wooden boxes and old prints. Anyone here younger!

    Hey Joshua welcome! I've no idea the ages of many people on the boards but it's great to have a younger person enjoying older things! I do know there are lots of people here with years of experience with antiques.

    (I didn't grow up with antiques around my family's house either but my kids have;))

    That was about the time I got "serious" about loving old stuff.Welcome and I do believe you are the youngest EVER to grace these boards. :)

    I started when I was about 10. I grew up in an era where ladies do not disclose their age.

    Those of us who have enjoyed antiques and learning about them, like to share what we have learned. We are glad to have someone like yourself interested in learning from us. Welcome.
