I didn't think there was much actual land mass in the Arctic..........possibly from the Antarctic?

I'd not seen that word before...
So I searched the net once more...
    There I find a word...
    That I had never heard.
It seems that werd was absurd...
    For the one that would...
Use it in an attack on his own selfhood.
    To use that inappropriate werd...
    Is simply not QUERD!

I worked with the Dutch for over 25 years. I worked with Jorge Guillermo in particular, but had dealings with most of the family. I lived in Amsterdam/Amstelveen for sometime back in the 1980s. LOVED IT! But was transferred to London all too soon.

Actually, there are probably a number of REAL meanings of the word QUERD, but it was an "inside" word used by my brothers and me a hundred years ago - hard to define (as in you had to be there) and I NEVER use it "publicly". I'm just slipping up all over the place this morning.........SORRY...........

But as to Gerspee's stone object, I think it is probably intended to be a sculpture (bird?), rather than having any actual use or purpose. Could be from Alaska, and could be soapstone, but could be from elsewhere or another type of stone also.
