Featured Maker help on braided brooch signed "Ster" and "14K" plus initials

    Any thoughts on this signature? Kind of a simple vintage brooch, I think sterling with 14K gold coating. Just couldn't get anywhere with that last mark. Hope everyone is doing well, and thanks for taking a look!

    Thanks, all. I wondered if "08", but seems older than 2008, and newer than 1908, I think at least. Also that first digit almost has a "U" shape a bit. Hmmm..

    I *think* maybe the symbol between Ster and 14K is just a "+" sign, but could be wrong and will take a better look. Thanks.

    The more gold the better, but color is uniformly gold-- I think sort of a gold wash over silver. I like the "chain link brooch" for a title. Thank you!

    Thank you Flipper. Very similar. Mine brooch is a bit bigger, but a very close design!

    Taking @Aquitaine's excellent work and flipping it- I agree with @i need help - it looks like a cross to me.
