    IMG_20200413_100433.jpg Hello everyone!

I am curious about the value of this rock vase which is used in the Mediterranean for keeping olive oil. It is at least 200 years old that I know (transfered inside family).

I am getting offers of around 4 000 euros for it but am not sure if the value is higher.

Thank you so much for help in advance.

I don't really know anything about your piece but wondered if you might give a bit more information for someone who might. I know that there are some rustic looking carved stone items from France.

    Some possible questions:
How big is it? Do you know what country it might be from or where your family was? Is there evidence of oil etc. or why you believe that's how it was used?

It weighs around 50 kg if not more, 50 cm tall approximately and 30 cm radius. It originates from southern islands of Croatia (South Dalmatia region).
