Completely understand then. I am so let down sometimes when something speaks to only me. I hope you are successful. One of the problems with a successful artist is that google doesn’t show the 3.5 billion iterations :D

I was also very hopeful with Aquitaine's find. I had NEVER seen the Old Man, either!

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

I believe @Any Jewelry's link is the one I went through ALL 17 PAGES OF, and didn't see anything resembling what @flipper is searching for...........

Hello I too have been trying to find a similar piece or history on one I have - my parents purchased in Malta in valetta this piece which has been a favourite of my mothers. Was purchased over 30 years ago from a shop that sold Italian porcelain and antiques. We have a certification paper with ours - yours looks a similar style - clearly the conductor to my violinist. Beautiful piece - if you would part with it I’d be interested in buying depending on price and more pictures to bring them together possibly I do love mine. I can’t load the pics so if someone can show me how I’ll show you what mine looks like - so nice to see another I’ve been searching a long time for another or similar.

    Hi Valetta
Thank you for taking an interest, but you cannot discuss buying or selling on the antique forums. You would have to go to the bottom section called MARKETPLACE. I am not so sure I would be willing to sell him anyway...he is still a recent acquisition!

I was REALLY excited...especially since I could not find anything like it, but I KNEW it was him. There were some naysayers but I was positive. Maybe we will have to make a play date for a photoshoot.
