This is beautiful, but all I can focus on is one horrendous tub accident. While I may be tall enough to navigate my way from the floor into the tub and back again, I wouldn't even try without two Eunuchs stand by.

If they weren't eunuchs when they started, one slip onto that poorly placed faucet would do it.
    What were they thinking?!

That's not the bathroom, that's the potting shed. You should see the bathroom!

    Morning, Sue. Morning, Messi.

I find that often the men who design kitchens and bathrooms have extremely annoyed wives.

    :shifty:

Unless my eyes are deceiving me, this is a good example of photoshoping. The faucet set up would not be mounted to the tub itself but on the tiled area in front or elsewhere.

I am confused, can we still make decorating suggestions on this tread, or am I the only one exiled to the other thread?:shame:

I don't think any of the things in this thread need decorating suggestions.
They are just our piles, stacks, hoards, of stuff.

I can't predict what any of the things on this thread actually need, but you did like elarnia's decor suggestion.

No. what I "liked" was her style of writing, and her joy at finding a bare spot of carpet, and being able to vacuum it.
We just aren't able to "like" just part of a thread.

Here's the problem I am having. It's when 3 or 4 or more board nannies decide to clamor against one individual. And that's made even more stark like in the heated exchange prior, which was between two individuals and neither had a problem with the tone, but the nannies felt compelled to publicly chide one individual. It makes it look like they think the moderators of this site are incompetent, or can't be trusted or don't do their jobs.

This forum was initiated partly over an individual troll at the bayboards. When I first joined here, I asked about that problem, because the way I saw it much of the problem was the baiting of that troll and comments from certain board nannies which were quite nasty, if seemingly warranted. There is a kind of board user who secretly relishes having a troll to poke with a stick, goad over and say, "see how stinky you are, you dirty old troll." These are not lovely or productive members and one red flag is that they always seem to come in a coven of 3 or more.

I feel like I am due an apology, though I don't expect it, I've had my say and that's that.

Please people, if you feel compelled to join a fray, pause for a second to consider what you are planning and why. Perhaps writing your concerns to a board moderator might be more appropriate, or even sending a pm to the alleged detractor.

Now where did I "chide" you or anyone?
You asked about decorating suggestions. I thought it was a real question, and answered accordingly.
If it wasn't the answer you wanted, you should have worded it differently.

Join the fray? Board nannies? That comes up now and then when more than one just happens to feel and/or think in the same direction. They get labeled a "gang". I can't speak for others, and never do. I don't do bandwagons and prefer to think and speak for myself.

If several people find you offensive? Perhaps consider rereading your own posts? I know I do, and beat myself up in private. I learn from it and move on. No perfect people here, and no one expects it from others.

    Back to that bathroom....ha!

Of course it's staged. There isn't a drop panel on the front of the tub surround to get to the plumbing, if needed. Especially if it is a jetted tub.

If that comes up more than once, perhaps it is like wise time to consider rereading your own posts? just saying.

I just said that! You might have missed it, you only quoted part of my post. hahahaha
