About 10x10x10 inches, each of many drawers has a deck of cards in 4 sections, each has word " dealer" and arrow pointing in different direction from one drawer to next. Looking for rough value to make offer on it, IHNI, seller will probably trust my offer. More pix if needed. My wag on dates is mid-20th c. Has Masonite on drawer tops.

Card graphics appear to be art deco.

From what little I know about casino's ...each new deck must be factory wrapped , and cracked open by a floor person or pit boss.
Plastic cards used for poker , while paper cards are used for black jack, and after a certain amount of use these can be purchased at the casino as keepsakes .
I would think Casino cards would be name branded.

I'm sure that's all correct. Now my guess is these are for some organized group that met, say weekly, to play a card game that had four people per table.???

In some card tournaments (e.g. bridge). don't they set the hands before play so that each table is playing the same hand to see who makes the best of it? Maybe a box like this would hold pre-set decks for multiple tables and multiple rounds?

MoS is right; Bridge clubs do exactly that. Tournament bridge works that way. Party bridge does a random deal at each table. My dad used to play every week, and I picked up enough to follow what was going on.

Duplicate bridge. Bridge boards are used. I haven't seen boards like these before, but then again these are vintage probably dating back to MCM or earlier. I have only seen bridge boards from the 1970s on. Here are examples of the bridge boards I'm familiar with using.

With those arrows on the boards, I really think duplicate bridge or duplicate whist. Arrows are on their boards. I haven't ever played whist, but know it is similar to bridge. The game of bridge is a variant of whist.

Thanks much, I sent the link off to the owners. I'm not into that stuff and would probably only offer $50. But don't need another dust magnet.
