Pulaski.... value???

In a roundabout way. Company named after the town and the town named after Count Casimir Pulaski, a Revolutionary War hero from Poland.

There were at least 2 Revolutionary War notables from Poland. Another one was Tadeusz Kosciuszko (Polish-Lithuanian) who designed fortifications such as West Point. He started out as a colonel in the Continental Army and later made a brigadier general for his service. There are several town name after him even one here in Mississippi spelled Kosciusko. Gee, there is also a Pulaski, MS - an unincorporated community.

Yes. As I noted and the reason I asked is that he was vitally important in that he and his troops kept the British away from the bog iron foundries in the Pine Barrens of NJ which is essentially why the 'Skyway' that rises between Jersey City, NJ, flies over Kearny (with exit) and ends in Newark is actually named The General Pulaski Skyway.
He was important for much more and SO glad he came here when he did for the war may have gone a different way indeed.
Those who have served in the US Army, especially cavalry, know who he is.
