Featured Glassies,Kosta Boda ?

    Hi all. Picked this gorgeous thing up today,and I swear I just was going to the grocery store! Somehow I ended up in a thrift?!? This thing is 15x12,5 inches high,and weighs 30 lbs! My arm was killing me carrying it around! The bottom is immaculately polished,no sigs anywhere I could see. Any and all input is appreciated.

    Not to prick your bubble, but any paperweight maker, and I assume any other shop, too, has the ability to make controlled bubbles. Its' not hard, just takes the right equipment.

    Oh Im aware of that,but this piece seems to be good quality .I hope my "eye" isnt wrong. :) I find plenty of examples,but not this shape and not so thick.

    That's seriously pretty. I'd have had to leave it behind; it weighs a good 20 pounds more than I'm allowed to lift! It's nice quality no matter whodunnit.

    Packed away at the moment, but I have a smaller, very similar controlled bubble bowl that retains its 'Murano' label - nice quality, looks lovely filled with glass cherries...

    Have you tried Chalet Glass or Erikson ? Possibly Danish.
