Green Beads & Pendant Necklace

I was thinking glass but I don't see any air bubbles.
It's even green color, the stripes are sun light reflection.
Or could it be stone? If so, I don't think it is jade. There are no inclusions and jadeite with such quality would be rare and used in high end piece.

 

Hm, seems like there is a cat's eye effect. Have to check what stones have that feature.

 

It's catseye glass. Not old - 80s or later craft show stuff.

Catseye glass is being used in new stuff these too - Belle Etoile costume stuff comes to mind - a relatively pricey Italian line.

You are right, probably cheap material but overall nice looking necklace, at least to my eyes.
