Any chance we find who SHT is?

 

Make something up and catalogue it as 'Attributed to'.

Sounds fancy and it is just a fairly modern decor picture.

The artist was a team player, he knew there is no 'I' in S H T

Hm, Samuel H. Thorn, American, 1925-2003. Just have to come up with a short bio
Just kidding. I did not buy it anyway because it looked to me like done by not very well trained artist.
But sometimes the subject sells even if not a well-executed piece.

 

I'd say those initials are a later addition. Look at the white smear behind them. I'll bet there's a real signature underneath.

I actually like it. I'd be very, very tempted to try and remove those initials.
