Featured Strange Little Figurine

Here' a strange little figure I've had for a few years. Got it from a thrift store. It's about 3" in height and about 2 3/8" in width and I think it's either terracotta or plaster. I'm not sure if it's been molded or not. Does anyone know who it's supposed to be or anything about it? I can't make out any ID marks on it.`

I think it's Dedo, a gargoyle.

 

Good idea, SIS! The lack of his toes being crossed may rule out Dedo; however, there are plenty of replicates of him without crossed toes.

Thanks SIS and Susan! I was thinking maybe a gargoyle of some type but I never heard of a Dedo.

I have his twin sitting on my kitchen windowsill!

 

Think I can see a few casting air holes. Looks like a cast polymer piece. Have a close look for a possible seam line.

 

Mine looks more like concrete - greyish in color and the surfaces not as smooth. He was a garden item in his previous life.

 

Wow Bakersgma! Your's looks almost the same as the one I have. I'm amazed at how popular these are and how many of these little monsters are running around on the loose!
