    Nicely constructed with textured sterling.
    2.75" long
The mark reads "Taxco Heche en Mexico 925" in the round. I just can't make heads nor tails of the mark in the center.

    Any suggestions on mark and/or age? MVC-089S.JPG MVC-090S.JPG MVC-091S.JPG MVC-092S.JPG MVC-093S.JPG MVC-094S.JPG

I've trIed working with the mark to see what is inside the circle with limited results. At first I thought 3 numbers like 133, but on further editing I now feel it is 3 letters. The letters may be "LET." Now mind you that is **maybe.*** Looking through Hougart's The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks under the section "Three or Four Initials" the Ls, p. 233, it has:

"LET Taxco 925 Hecho en Mex circle. Sterling (script). Eagle 3 (on Rancho Alegre)"

Page 153 has a short intro to Rancho Alegre and p. 154 has pics of some of their marks- none with LET. Here is the little it says.

    "Plateria Rancho Alegre S.A.
Mark: Rancho Alegre (script); RA (conjoined stylized); Rancho Alegre (conjoined); Ramcho Alegre. Eagle number: 2, 3, 138

"Plateria Rancho Alegre was established in 1956 by Pedro Perez, a one time shop manager at William Spratling's Taller de Las Delicias. During the 1960s, Rancho Alegre became one of the largest retailers of Mexican silver. It was a popular tourist attraction and served as an outlet for many of the finest designers and silversmiths. The shop closed in 1985 (Morrill 1996). The shop's advertisement read: 'For distinctive and exclusive patterns at a fair price look for this silver shop Rancho Alegre on Mexico-Acapulco Highway KM. 160700. Taxco, Gro Mex' (see also Miguel Garcia Martinez)."

Am including a couple of the edited pics in hopes someone might see the letters better than these old eyes. BTW, I don't see an eagle mark. It was not unusual for the eagle left off of smallish items such as jewelry. Eagle marks weren't required until around 1948 and then many didn't abide by this law.

    Susan -

Thank you for your research! The one you found on Etsy is the same material, same construction, and the mark is the same when compared. I couldn't get ANYTHING out of that mark!

Thank you again - I not only got the mark identified and an idea of age, but of value as well.
