The kids don't want them...

    Hi Everyone,
    My name is Beth, and I am old enough to be considered "collectible". That being said, I find that I have various antiques and collectibles stored in my garage that don't seem to be of interest to our kids. Apparently, our children each prefer a more modern look in their homes.
    I am hoping that this forum, and its members might give me some guidance on values, and suggested places to offer certain items for sale. The first, and largest item, is my grandmother's (great-grandmother's) Jenny Lind Spool bed. (see attached)

    Hi Beth and welcome. You should probably delete the PDF in your post for a couple of reasons: People don't like clicking links, and your contact info on the PDF is public.

    Then, post your bed photos in the Furniture forum and upload photos into the thread.

    Thanks for your help and suggestions. I deleted the initial Pdf. and will take out all my personal info. Again, Thanks.

    Welcome to the board Beth.
    If you are using your phone to take pictures, email them to yourself as Medium. Save them. Then post from there.

    Do you have grandchildren?
    If so - forget about asking your kids. Ask your grand kids if there are things they would like. You may be surprised at what they would like to have.

    I created a Pdf file without my personal info. If this doesn't work, I will try something else.
    Thanks for all the help.

    (I'm going to have to work on resizing my pictures.)
