I have NO real idea, but the brightness of the colours and the LACK of fading would lead me to believe that his piece is new(er). Standby for those that know more!

    Hi Amirnaser,

The costumes the people are wearing are Spanish, maybe that is a clue.

I have the same tapestry. These were commonly brought back from Europe after WWII. My mother's was as bright as this until about 1989 when she sent it to the drycleaner and it came back nearly monochromatic. It's rolled up and tucked away someplace.

    Dear Bev aka thelmasstuff
Do you have any photo from your tapestry?
Do you mean my tapestry doesn't have any worth?

I grew up in NH and my grandparents were from Canada. Most businesses still take Canadian coins in change. Even here in Massachusetts they commonly show up and no one pays attention. My kids were surprised when they moved away and couldn't use them. When told they were foreign money, they both said, "But they're Canadian." Logically, it's different, but if you live here and see it on a near daily basis you forget it's foreign. :)
