Sterling Ring

Any idea of the mark? Also, what's the stone?

Stone looks like a peridot. Some are more yellow than green.

The ring isn't even close to old.

 

Has someone said that it was?

 

The ring is marked (925), so that tells us that it's Sterling. But that's all I can say with confidence.

 

The ring's not too old but still old enough that the stone could be Scapolite (if your fortunate) but is more likely glass.

 

Is that little logo an arm with a hammer?

 

I wish I could figure what the logo is.
Why " if fortunate"? Is scapolite that expensive? I see it is supposted to be rare but I find selling it cheap online.

Well, not exactly like it, mine has a pink stone which tests in the high glass/low tourmaline field but I am assuming it's glass.
Mine has golden wash accents.

 

Apparently they are not marked, but they bare a striking resemblance to David Yurman, Cable Collection. But genuine Yurman would be marked as such.

 

Scapolite is not valuable but is a nice looking gem and is a gem that few people own. Unique.
