The little horses are quite interesting, they have a Tang horse design feel about them. No size for them? The bottom brooch is probably European.

The letter opener and the elephany bridge look as if they could be comparatively new tourist pieces from Africa or India.

The bottom brooch looks like German red deer antler crown carving.

    Hi,
Here is one of my last pieces of ivory. It is a cribbage board counter fitted into a glass topped box. The knob on the end unscrews and holds the pins for counting. The box was covered with snake skin which is really mostly lost. I bought a new skin to recover it but no time yet to do it. The other pieces of ivory I have are my great grandmothers hair combs and a lot of small sewing things, like thimbles and lace making pieces. They are "jailed" waiting for me to die so they can be left to family members. I am glad that I sold the big pieces years ago. Should have held onto them could have tripled the price. My favorite was a puzzle ball 6" in diameter with 10 balls inside. Just thinking of how many hours were spent on carving that thing staggers me.
