Any Ideas on age / era ?

    The legs pull out either side. We were given it around 25 years ago.

    I think about 1910 or so with those Mackmurdo feet. Could be a bit earlier if English or Scottish. Wood is oak.

    .... so you are in England? The Mackmurdo foot was developed by Arthur Heygate Mackmurdo in the 1880s. Consequently, if English, this could be as early as circa 1890. The style didn't make its way to the US until later.

    Oak gate leg table early 20th century.
    Not worth a great deal, brown furniture is not popular at present.

    Not currently in fashion here in the US. That may change eventually.

    Useful but not fashionable, which is sad, given how well made these were.
