Book, THESE results indicate that Insto Products made time-stamps.

...and although I can't call up the cached page in the first link HERE (so the Insto reference no longer shows up), if you look at the other timers on that page of racing pigeon timers, I wonder if that is what your clocks were used for.

Lol! Sharona, I was just being an a$$. :)

I have other finds, but don't care to share at the moment.

That porcelain piece (large bulb bowl or brushwasher) is actually quite nice and appears quite rare and unusual.

It probably dates to the 18th/19th C., in a café-au-lait (coffee and milk) glaze, with sepia decorated interior, sitting on three small applied feet and unglazed base.

This glaze was most popular during the Kangxi and Qianlong Period and revived in the late-19th C.

I've never seen one like it, nor have I been able to locate a comparable so far.

Morgen, the link in my first message, #1192, was to Roschmitt auctions for the same set of clockworks that are on this Invaluable site. I also came across the same website with the racing pigeon timers. After scrolling down through the pigeon timers found it eventually included other other clockworks. It then had the Insto clockwork that was in a lot of 6 other clockworks that were referring to the same auction lot as from the Roschmitt auction house. If you use your "Here" link in your 2nd message and at the bottom of that page change "Per Page" from 50 to 200 you will see the clocks, "Lot 152." I think this lot is the 200 one for it was at the very bottom of the page. They are the same as I linked to in my 1st message. I guess I shouldn't say they aren't pigeon timers. The Lot description doesn't say they are, but it doesn't say what they were used for either.

    On the Invaluable site:

On the Roschmitt site, the 2nd auction lot:

'Nuff, I think the mark on the vase is #707 near the bottom of the Chinese Marks page on Gotheborg. The section is "RECENT ADDITIONS-UNDERGLAZE BLUE" with this info:

    707. Zhongguo Longquan - "China Longquan", probably referring to the Celadon type glaze made famous by the Longquan kilns in Zhejiang province of South-Eastern China. Modern ware, late 20th century.

It is the 3rd section **up* from the bottom or the 2nd "Recent Addition" section scrolling down from the top. A good 3/4ths of the way down the page.

    Susan,

The information you posted above regarding Sharona's celadon covered piece is correct. I'm sure she'll be happy to have this info. Thanks for posting it.

My post #1209 was actually referring to post #1200.

Not sure if you got the two mixed-up?

    Or am I confused?

I would just donate most of it..all I found after many sales were 3 Howard Hold cruets...and a modern cabinet I plan on flippin quick for 10.00 nothing else

Nope, you're not confused, I was. Sorry. Hope Sharona realizes my mistake on aiming that message at you instead of at her.
