Unknown painter from this oil painting

would like to know the artist off this old painting . Who is able to read the name for me ? And maybe some more off his or hers paintings ? thanks

A similar type of scene so fjord make be right.

 

Looks like a fjord so that must be the scene . Painting is old like to see om the backside off the linnen en I think from around the 19 hundreds painted because off the little steamer on the back ? And name off the artist would give more clues off course

 

And what does the label say on the back?

This what's on the label and looks more like not related and only the backside off a piece off paper put on as support off the linnen ?

The piece of paper is part of an envelope, stamped in Vlissingen, The Netherlands. There are no mountains, let alone fjords, in The Netherlands, so it has nothing to do with the painting.
The stamp on the paper means postage is paid, next to it is part of the coat of arms of Zeeland, the province in which Vlissingen is located.
The words "Jessica haar beeld" mean "Jessica's statue". It could be a germanized sort of Dutch, meaning Jessica's picture. 1943 is interesting, a date? Germans in Vlissingen in 1943 would be invaders or (Jewish?) refugees.

 

I think with a better and/or enhanced picture of this signature, we should be able to get this. I am not anywhere I can enhance this or would do so. I see O. Kur??n . Next to last letter might be an E.

 

Make a better picture later this weekend and wil have a look at al the names off the painters of Norway . So thanks already for that info .

 

At the moment (better said last TWO WEEKS!!!!) am reduced just to my iPad, but was able to enhance, tho probably too much, and not just the siggy......I haven't found a great Photoshop comp for the iPad yet........

Ove Larsen (1889-1945)
from Denmark . And he was also an artist at the famous Bing & Grondahl .
