I found an authentic B u r b e r r y faint rosé giant check cashmere scarf circa 2010 in very good condition for 20$ at the flea market today.

I got a rock.(LOL) Actually, I found quilt fabric. It's not for resale, but given what fabric costs these days it was a good deal.

The shade is too dark & the wrong color...it draws away from the mystery of the lamps curves, and the softer green color.
    IMHO.....

    Hi Johnny,
Love that lamp. My aunt had the same one only with a really dark shade. The colors of the 50s, chartreuse and forest green.

Here are some of my latest non-antique jewelry finds. All pieces were part of a huge lot of stuff donated to my favorite thrift. Most pieces in the first bunch were under $10.00 ... most expensive was the rhinestone pin @ 20.

All these pieces are very nice and well made, but certainly adds weight to the argument that WHO makes/designs a piece is important ... the thrift only ID'd the earrings as sterling, but totally missed recognizing the style, mark, or even that there was 14K gold on the Yurman pair!

Even if none of these sell, I'd be more than happy to wear them myself.

Also took a chance on this - which I can't see myself wearing, and only bought because of the name ... (still, it was less expensive than that rhinestone pin above)

same with this odd brooch ... at a couple of $, it seemed like a good idea at the time. Now I wonder if it might take more than a little while to find the collector that needs to add it to their collection ....
